A trend to study cognition from the point of view of neurodynamics has emerged as a result of the current, rapid developments taking place in nonlinear dynamics and cognitive science. In order to promote the integration of cognitive science and neurodynamics as a whole, the 1st International Conference on Cognitive Neurodynamics - 2007 (ICCN'07) and the 3rd Shanghai International Conference on Physiological Biophysics - Cognitive Neurodynamics (SICPB'07) are organized by East China University of Science & Technology and by the Shanghai Society for Biophysics to take place in Shanghai Airlines Travel Hotel, Shanghai, China during November 17-21, 2007. The conference will provide a forum for scientists and engineers working in this exciting area and its related fields to review the latest progress and development in the field, and to exchange their experience, progress and ideas. An Editorial Board Meeting of "Cognitive Neurodynamics" will also be held during the period. The conference will consist of three-day oral and poster presentation, and a one-day tour to Shanghai at the last day.
