It is our great pleasure to announce that Cognitive Neurodynamics - A New Springer Journal will be published on January 1st, 2007.

Currently, with the rapid developments of nonlinear dynamics and cognitive science, a trend to study cognition from a dynamic view has emerged. However, up to now, papers related to cognitive neurodynamics are widely scattered in a variety of different journals. No journal available is focused on this important topic. In order to promote the approach to integrate cognitive science and neurodynamics as a whole, this new journal will provide a dynamic forumfor scientists and engineers working in cognitive neurodynamics and related fields. This new journal will provide them a unique platform to publish their latest results, to exchange their ideas, and to discuss the problems they are interested in. It is encouraged to discuss this topic with views or approaches from different aspects and areas.

Cognitive Neurodynamics is an international, peer-reviewed interdisciplinary Journal, focusing on the overlapping fields of cognitive science and nonlinear dynamics, and also covering other related areas in neuroscience, mathematics, physics, computer science, informatics, intelligent robotics etc. It will publish works from different fields, and on both basic and applied (engineering, medicine or neurobiology) research. Original research papers, review articles, brief communications, discussions, book reviews, and congress reports are welcomed.

We hope this journal will be a forum for all of the colleagues working in cognitive neurodynamics and related fields, and be your own journal. Your submission is earnestly expected. Any comments or suggestions are warmly welcomed. We are also expecting your kindness to recommend this new journal to your library and colleagues.
